Public Notice Website

NYPA launched a consolidated public notice website in 2007 to discourage government entities from creating government controlled Web sites for public notices. New York newspapers that publish public notices should enroll in the program and upload all notices to www.mypublicnotices.com. Public notices are uploaded as text files; no special software is required.

There is no cost to newspapers to participate. NYPA absorbs all costs associated with the public notice Web site. By uploading public notices to the consolidated site, those notices are archived in a searchable database. Anyone with Internet access can search the public notice database.
